First interactive online concert Tata Bojs OnLive
The traditional spring benefit concert of the band Tata Bojs was cancelled due to the coronavirus crisis. Therefore we came with a unique concept called OnLive which offered a live broadcast together with interactive elements and delivered the audience the illusion of a real show.
challenge
Deliver the ultimate experience of a real concert through an online broadcast where fans can enjoy clapping, whistling, are able to shout the name of their favourite song and with luck the band would play it. The aim was to give the band the opportunity to interact with their fans and share the energy so typical for live concerts.
SOLUTION
Within only three weeks we managed to propose a solution that cleverly combined immersive technologies with gaming principles. We focused on high quality video and sound and on that account we used above-standard high resolution.
4 DIFFERENT VIEWS 4 DEMANDING VIEWERS
We also used an often ignored function of switching cameras and streamed 4 different views - the main view which we called the director’s cut and another three chosen static views within the theatre which the audience could select as they desired. For the broadcast we also created an internal solution in Google’s cloud database.

150 000 CZK was forwarded to the endowment fund Šestý smysl
Result?
This number utterly overcame the modest capacity of Divadlo v Celetné where the live concert was originally planned to take place. Moreover: people had the opportunity to buy online tickets during the broadcast and the total amount of 150 000 CZK was forwarded to the endowment fund Šestý smysl.
